Problem statement

For nonzero a,b∈F101a,b\in\mathbb F_{101}, let N(a,b)N(a,b) be the number of c∈F101c\in\mathbb F_{101} for which x5+ax2+bx+cx^5+a x^2+b x+c is irreducible over F101\mathbb F_{101}. Determine max⁡a,b≠0N(a,b)\max_{a,b\ne0}N(a,b).
